View From White Rock Trail

As mentioned in an earlier post, the house is on 3 levels:
1) garage & kitchen & top floor
2) open living & dining
3) master suite & sleeping porch
The outside finish will be stucco -- likely in some kind of ivory or white cream finish. Unlike a stick house, which is not the ideal vehicle for stucco in the south, an ICF house is ideal -- no shifting and settling that causes cracking and no worry of mold/wood rot behind it as a result.
The windows are all Jeld-Wen Caradco casement and sills and trim will be painted a dark roasted coffee bean brown, using Sherwin Williams Duration paint (they call it a high performance coating!). The paint is great and lasts forever -- it better at about $40/gallon! I used it to paint all the wood trim on my 1926 Tudor 3 summers ago and I can highly recommend the stuff.
Lastly, the metal roof will be medium brown in color.
(As always, click on a pic for a bigger look.)
